No, not the base of the concreate. Some prefer a more natural concreate color. All you will have to do is to stain the lines and numbers onto the court. If you do choose to stain the concreate most go with the base color of green and use white for the lines/numbers.
Stain penetrates into the pours of the concreate. While paint only sits on the surface of the concreate, which will create ridges so when you play shuffleboard it will slow down the discs and or can stop them from sliding across the court.
You will be using 1-2 gallons of H&C Acrylic Concrete stain in patio green and for the numbers and lines you will use H&C Acrylic Concrete stain in white.
